Island Immersion
Visit Bodufolhudhoo and Mathiveri, stop for lunch on Mathiveri, then spend time by the water at Mathiveri Finolhu. A full day brings you into neighbouring North Ari communities and out to a picnic island.
The day
Leave after breakfast, usually around 09:30. Bodufolhudhoo and Mathiveri are both inhabited islands of North Ari Atoll, both fixed parts of the day, with lunch on Mathiveri. Mathiveri Finolhu is the uninhabited picnic island beside it, where you swim. It is shared, and other boats may visit.
Ask about the day’s itinerary and return time when booking, and include any dietary needs for lunch.
This is the day for people already curious about the Maldives beyond their own island: how the next village is laid out, what the shops sell, what a working harbour looks like when it is not yours. It is long, on the boat and on foot. Tell us about children, and about anyone who finds walking difficult, before you book.
The team explains local customs before your visits, so you can explore the villages respectfully.

Snorkelling equipment is included, so Mathiveri Finolhu is worth a look underneath as well as a swim. Island Immersion is a package in its own right and is not one of the 3-Day Adventure Pass choices.
