Whale Shark Expedition
Travel south to South Ari in search of whale sharks, the largest fish in the sea. Leaving Ukulhas at 07:00, this full-day outing gives experienced snorkellers the chance to enter the water if a whale shark is found.
Seven hours, and a packed lunch
The expedition uses a larger boat for the long open-water crossing to South Ari. A packed lunch is included, with the usual return to Ukulhas around 14:00.
Sightings depend on the season, weather and the search that day. If no whale shark is seen, we include a short picnic island or sandbank stop with snorkelling on the way back.
The expedition suits guests who are confident in open water and comfortable with a long boat journey. It may be tiring for young children. Tell us everyone’s ages and snorkelling experience before booking.
