Sand Bank Escape

Step off the boat onto a strip of sand surrounded by sea. A 15 to 20-minute ride from Ukulhas brings you to a sandbank for a walk, a swim and time beside the water.

A couple laughing together on a sandbank, with turquoise water on both sides.

A morning on the sandbank

This is a shared daytime visit, so other boats and visitors may be there. For an evening on a sandbank hired for your booking, explore Sandbank Dining.

Swimming here is open-water swimming, straight off the sand into deep water, so with families we ask the children's ages and how everyone swims before we book anything. Snorkelling equipment comes with the trip if you want to look underneath.

Along with the Manta Encounter and the Nurse Shark Encounter, we suggest it to couples.
