Our flagship boutique beachfront hotel has 26 rooms, set directly behind Nala Bistro on the same property. Start with breakfast on the sand, then walk to the water in about a minute. The reef is close to shore for snorkelling from the beach.
Between the beach and the village
Walk to the beach for a swim, or head into the village for cafés, shops and the harbour. Both are close enough to explore on foot.
Nala Bistro occupies the beachfront part of the property, with tables indoors and out on the sand. Nala Spa is a short walk away at Nala Veli Villa, and we book your treatment there for you.
Which room is yours?
The 26 rooms divide into six categories, and what really separates them is light, space and whether you get a balcony.
Every category except the Comfort Room and the Family Room takes one extra bed where the layout allows, and every room has a queen bed as standard. Deluxe Rooms can be set up with twin beds on request.

A balcony gives you a place for a morning coffee or some time outside before dinner. The Superior Deluxe with Balcony, often our suggestion for couples, has more indoor space and a larger balcony than the Deluxe Balcony Room. In each of the two Nala Suites, a Jacuzzi sits in the en-suite bathroom, which has a large window. One Suite faces the sunrise and the other the sunset.
For guests travelling with young children, we usually suggest the Family Room, which sleeps three and is larger than the Comfort and Deluxe rooms, with exterior windows that bring daylight in. Once children are older, two rooms tend to work better than one. Babies aged 0 to 2 stay free, a cot costs nothing if you need one, the airport boat transfer is free for them and no Green Tax is charged.
The Nala welcome
The team can help with airport transfers, a spa appointment or an occasion during your stay. Please tell us about dietary needs; for a serious allergy, the kitchen may confirm the details with you directly.
At the harbour, the team takes your luggage and brings it up to the hotel. A welcome drink is usually waiting.
On the property, and just beyond
Nala Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on the property. Nala Spa is a short walk away. Nala Experiences runs the boats out to the reef and the sandbanks, and evenings that need arranging are booked through Celebrate.
What to know before you come
Three floors, stairs only, no lift. The team carries luggage up and down on arrival and departure. Ground-floor rooms here depend on availability, while every room at Nala Veli Villa is on the ground floor. If you use a wheelchair, we will go through the room and bathroom layout with you before you book.
No room here has a sea view, and there is no swimming pool. Floors and window outlooks vary by room.
Wi-Fi runs at up to 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Actual speeds vary.
