Getting to Ukulhas
Reach Ukulhas by scheduled Coral Speedboat from Malé airport, usually a crossing of around 90 minutes. Nala arranges your tickets, meets you at the airport and welcomes you at the island harbour.
Speedboat departure times
Check the boat times before booking flights. The last scheduled departure from the airport to Ukulhas is at 16:00. Allow time after landing to make the connection; if you arrive later, ask us about an overnight transit stay or a private speedboat.
The Coral Speedboat runs every day between Malé airport and Ukulhas, with different times on Fridays.

Your tickets
The seats we book are on a scheduled boat you share with other passengers. When we have your WhatsApp number, we send the tickets there; otherwise, give your name when you board and the crew will have it.
Send your arrival and onward flight details when you book, or as soon as you have them, and we arrange the tickets and confirm the timing shortly before you arrive.
At airport arrivals
Look for the Nala Veli Maldives signboard or our airport counter, D11. Our representative meets you, helps with your luggage and takes you to the Coral Speedboat departure. This airport assistance is for the Coral Speedboat arrival that Nala arranges.
The crossing
From Malé, the crossing to Ukulhas is typically around 90 minutes across open water, depending on the sea and the timetable. Coral Speedboat, a separate operator, runs the service.
Arriving on Ukulhas
At the harbour, someone from Nala greets you, often the person you have been messaging. The team carries your luggage to your property, where a welcome drink is usually waiting.

Share your onward flight details, and we will help you choose a return departure and arrange the tickets.
If your travel plans change
Your flight lands late and the boat has gone. Take the next scheduled Coral Speedboat, or ask us about a private one. If you have missed the 16:00, it means a night at an airport transit hotel and the morning boat.
The sea is rough. Departures depend on conditions. If yours moves, we tell you and rearrange the transfer.
A private boat, if you would rather
USD 800 per boat each way for up to 20 passengers, all taxes included, about 60 minutes rather than 90. We usually need a day's notice.
The Coral Speedboat itself is a scheduled service shared with other passengers, not a private charter. It does not usually set a luggage limit.
